Just made my first ever store bought machine purchase ◄laptop► ;D
Awhile back I thought I saw a thread about running moh in windows 7 and the forum search does not like the search term windows 7 so I thought I'd just ask if there is anything special I need to know ahead of time before I get that far... ◄I'm still uninstalling crap out of it►...Norton was the first!
Another quick question, Is creating a restore disk the same as backing up the restore partition?
I'm still tweaking the way it looks also so I havn't unhid all the system directories/drives yet, not sure what I should do as the manual is the smallest I've ever seen for a computer and half of it is about not burning the battery...well duuuhh lolol

...odd I figured I'd have a bunch of problems....went right in. It created an x86 folder, but no issues.
Other than can't make start menu look like classic style easily I'm liking win 7 pretty good.

I've been using Windows 7 for a long time now and love it. Lots of good info about it on these forums: www.sevenforums.com/

Never ask what kind of computer a person uses--if it's a Mac, he'll say; if not, why embarrass him?

It must auto find anything shared from another machine also. I went to change the workgroup to the same as my others so I could find my shared directories, and it had already found them and not even being on the same workgroup. This was strange finding this out but I'm glad I know b4 I take the machine anywhere with shared directories. btw I ended up with a Toshiba Satellite a505 4GB ram, 512 dedicated video card, quad core HT each core at 1.6 GHZ , with harmon kardon sound, 16 inch widescrn
