I finally got 21 correct. I think I'm close on a few more...just need to work them over a bit more. I was on the right track with #6 and 7 for a while, and finally worked them out. So simple, now!
I think I'm close on #15, 16, and 33.

Some of those are pretty difficult... like 29 let's say... 64 straws on a camels back? (laughing) I am at 26/33.
I had to look up some words in the dictionary in order to spell them correctly, like Millennium, and Fahrenheit. (I missed the second "n" and the "h" in my poor attempts at spelling.)
Thanks Desmo... as if I don't have enough things to do in any given day... now I can't tear myself away from this thing.
Later Boys!

Oooh, 32 degrees F, of course..... Thanks. I have them all now. This test was decidely British. The 23 P (#28) came to me bodily at work, but I had to cheat for # 31, not knowing that game at all, and I had to guess about geography (# 30), and I had already guessed right about that other (strange) game (#14).
PS, I then went looking for answers, and this is all over the internet in multiple spots, actually, with answers. Interestingly, there are some wrong answers out there, too, such as 64 stitches on a cricket ball. I like that this website we did changes the boxes immediately when the right answer is entered.

Do you guys tinker with these little tests regularly? They are pretty darn challenging, and quite gripping, (can't tear myself away thing). Just a curious Silly Person

Do you guys tinker with these little tests regularly? They are pretty darn challenging, and quite gripping, (can't tear myself away thing). Just a curious Silly Person No--onlly when someone says a particular one is interesting or really challenging. They don't reflect intelligence, in my opinion, but instead deal more with the depth and width of one's verbal and reading experiences. When *some* you know who you are were reading Sports Illustrated or Playboy in high school or college, I was reading Games magazine or the SciFi mag, so I've seen these forever. Now the ones with figures to manipulate, to predict a shape or pattern (or to backtrack in reverse) and the ones involving math (a train leaves the station at 8:30 AM heading south at 50 mph......), require some thinking time, but even those become quick after you've done a few and know the way/formulas/tricks to solve the next. Again, more experience than intelligence. They are fun, however, in that you see how someone else thinks, and how one thing is obvious to you but not to another (the 64 squares on a chess board to me was obvious, but not the 32 degrees F, for example--who knows why? To know why, now that would be intelligence!). And yes, it is fun to beat a puzzle after, well, puzzling over it.

I got the chess board, (I guessed Checkers first, of course) too. I was having a lot of fun coming up with alternate definitions for those Brain-teasers. That was just the one that I remembered, about the camel... lol

Hey Redrock and Desmo and anyone else that might be up for a challenge. I found another little "tester-teaser" for you guys. This one has to do with how steady your hand-mouse coordination is. As the web site says, "sound will help" All you do is move the little square cursor through the maze. I couldn't get past level three no matter how many times I tried. Let me know how you guys do. Here is the web site: www.winterrowd.com/maze.swfSilly

I saw that some time back, maybe here? Anyway, I couldn't do it worth squat and gave up quickly. Instead, I went out to drive my nuclear missile truck through downtown traffic at rush hour with no brakes and stuck in 3rd gear and really needing to find a bathroom, as that was easier, if not safer.

Yeah, it does only let you go so far... then you need to go and change your shorts after that...
Have you guys seen that "Dream car" video... the end of the movie clip is similar to this test's end result.
I let a buddie watch it on my computer... my poor mouse actually stayed in one piece after he threw it up in the air, lol
