I'll bet its fun to ride. As soon as you get up a little speed to stabilize you, the weight doesn't matter anymore. I would love to see the looks on people's faces as I rode past on one of these while towing a camper.

The picture from the link on this 1100 pound dry hog reminds me of the old Garfield comic where Garfield eats too much and his belly is then so huge that his feet don't even touch the ground anymore. What's next? A pair of 747 ramjet engines with a single wheel in front, a wheel behind, and a saddle above? ;D

I have been on one and the weight is really not an issue. It was loaned to us to ride in a March of Dimes Ride for babies. It is balanced nicely. One of the guys we were on the ride with had put a blower on his. Gave it a little over 600 horses on a 350 small block.

i would also like to add my brother inlaw is a jet engine turbine specialist. he majors in helicopter engines, he bought a helicopter turbine engine (jet) and tried to talk me into helping him install it into a 16 foot boat. i said nope. he wasn't happy with me and he never did it. he sold the engine after rebuilding it. there is a god.
