When ImageShack gives you the list of different formats to cut and paste, don't pick "Forums". Instead use "Direct" and use the PIC button here to put the tags around it. If you pick the thumbnail version you can fix it later by removing the .th from the link. You posted: img366.imageshack.us/img366/5507/owlvsbike6hv.th.jpg Fixed: img366.imageshack.us/img366/5507/owlvsbike6hv.jpg ========================================== I have had a bird hit me dead in the chest while on my bike. Luckily it wasn't an owl, but something MUCH smaller. The bird was maybe a pound, so I could feel it impact through my heavy leather jacket. It was more suprising than anything else. I'm sure the bird enjoyed the encounter alot less than I did.

If that owl death occurred in the USA, I'm sure there was some federal law broken!!! You know, you can't even keep an eagle feather if you find one in the woods, and I think owls are protected too!!! Best to remove that baby from the bike before no one notices, and let the insurance company figure out what kind of "animal" you hit, right?
