Hey, Des, on the same you-tube page that opened when I watched your SantaBike vid, there was this one:
Is the low-speed sound of that bike typical for ducati? It sounded sick sick sick to me. But it sounded nice at higher speed. What do you all think?

Because Ducatis are twin-cylinder, they have that characteristic lope at low idle. Most Ducatis also have dry clutches, which make a very raspy sound with a semi-open clutch cover. When combined together, they culminate in a very mechanical, melodious symphony! Once you get the revs up the bike really thunders with a deep, intimidating roar! It really sounds like a performance motorbike.
It all sounded good to me!
