OK, I am unable to get into the game because the door on my CD won't open. I have two disc drives, one won't open and the other won't read a disc. Is there a quick fix for this. How much is a new disc drive. The one that does not work is a CD/DVD writer and the other is a regular CD deal.
Anyways thought you guys might have some paper clip MacGyver fix.

I would get the "don't need the CD" fix that is on Lamron's web site, and drives are real cheap if you just want a read only. I'm talking like $20 new. Look on eBay or Fry's on line (www.frys.com). If the gears are broke, then I have had to bust it up to get CD's out. It has been awhile but I think there is a pin hole in some that release the door.
They are NOT good cup holders... jut FYI (:

If ordering a drive, check to see f it is a SATA or an IDE drive. It is easy to tell the difference. SATA is a cable that looks somewhat the size of a phone cord whereas IDE cables are about 2" wide and flat. Either drive should cost very little. I HIGHLY suggest www.newegg.com for both their pricing and service if the drive arrives and is wrong or defective.

Yeah, first try the No CD crack on lamrons page. And you can get a writable drive that also reads DVD's for 30 bucs easy. I would highly doubt you have a SATA drive, they are fairly new and from what I've gathered about your computer, it is not.
And if you have a cd stuck in the drive, as marco said there is a little hole normally near the button to eject. I always used a paper clip to insert into the whole.

Well I'll start with the obvious...
Did you unzip the file and replace the moh_spearhead.exe (It might just be named "moh_spearhead", with no exe at the end. This is a user preference and is turned off by default in most computers.) from the unzipped file with the old moh_spearhead.exe that is in your MOHAA folder? It also tells you what to do in the Readme file after you unzip the file you downloaded.
If you have done that successfully, the moh_spearhead.exe file that is now in your MOHAA folder should be 1.58 MB in size. The old file is 2.31 MB in size. If your file in MOHAA is still 2.31, try copying the file from the unzipped folder again, and make sure you overwrite the previous file. For safety, I always create a new folder name "Old Exe's" and move the old file in there in case something goes wrong. To move in, right click and hold, then drag the file to the folder you created and select "Move Here".
I see no reason why the CD Crack File shouldn't work, so I would just make sure you are actually using the cracked file. Hope I have been some help... let me know if I got too lamen for you.
