Hey everyone,
I have a problem, my disks were scratched beyond repair before I realized that patches came out for the game, and once my game was deleted but I had MOH saved to my network. I can't install the patches because my game isn't installed. is there a way to make Windows XP professional think its installed, or install the patch without having the game installed? please help me, I have tried everything I can think of.

I'm no expert, but I highly doubt you will be able to patch your game without it being installed. Most patches edit .dll files, or in MoH's case probably the config files in addition. So without the game installed, you won't have the files that the patches are looking for.
Only solution I think there is, is to somehow install SH on your computer. I'm sure Lamron will know exactly how those patches work, so don't give up hope until you hear from him.

1) You have to install the game!
2) Find a source to download it, and use your cd keys.--> I don't want to list an option for downloading as I don't know what is frowned upon!
3) Write your downloads to disk.
4) Install nocd patches to save disk touching/wear and tear
1a.5) After you did all the above -->Option-->Use BartPe the next fresh windows xp install you do, after you get everything set the way you want it. " You may have to customize this for it though, this is a windows boot disk program, with what you want on it!" Very handy for laptops with no battery, missing hard drive, and only 512 mb ram because the other 512 went bad.....lol

If you have all the game files, but Windows won't recognize it as "installed", then you are missing the registry entries. There isn't any easy way to fix this. By far, the best/easiest/fastest solution to replace AA/SH/BT is this: tinyurl.com/5bjn37

I would contact Aspyr.com, likely the publisher of the game, and just nicely ask for a replacement disk of your now-damaged original disk--you send in your original with $10 or so (whatever they ask for) and they give you a new one, since you already have bought it and have the cd-key (from the cd-cover) and you'll use that cd-key with the new disk that will come. I would try that first. You'll just have to specifiy whether it's MOHAA, SH, BT, or the WarChest version, of course. Let us know what happens, too.

look on AMAZON.COM. i got an extra set new with unregistered code for about5- 6 bucks shipped. doesn't have the jewel case but so what . my second disk from the original 1 i had was scratched and i took it to a local video store and for 2 bucks they ran it through their machine and it worked good as new. so i didn't have to even open the 1 i bought. was thinking of getting another set cause it seems to be getting rare.

well... Got it started, I have a problem though. the gewehrgranate grenade reload is messing up.
first grenade load-up is fine, but then the second reload... it seems that the player moves the whole rifle instead if just the greande... any idea on what might be going on?
thanks in advance!

The Gewehrgranate was added with one of the patches. If you're using SpearHead, make sure you installed the two patches in order.
