Looks creepy. My jaw dropped when it was shoved and managed to balance itself.

I agree. Creepy is the right way to describe that thing.
The shove was nothing compared to the icy patch where the thing, after regaining it's balance more than once, returned to it's original direction of travel.
Very amazing robot.

Very creepy and odd, but I can certainly see promise for the technology. But they must find a better fuel source as the gas motor is loud! it could not be used for military purposes making that racket.

The creepiness was in two things--it didn't have a head!!!!! And the motion was a little jerky, not as fluid as a living thing. Thus, the overall image was of a headless zombie beast!!!! Night of the living dog! so to speak!

I could envision packs of these things being armed with a variety of weapons; from tasers, tear gas, etc. to more lethal stuff.
so, law enforcement & soldiers, border patrols would not be in harms way.
Imagine illegals seeing packs of these things coming after them at the border!

If these things are going to be running the border patrol, someone needs to install some teeth so that they really look scary.
If they can make this thing walk and maybe run, they can also make it bite people. LOL

LOL Unfortunately, before anyone in the US Government would actually give an instruction to a robot dog to bite a border crosser, someone would have to install some male gonads in that Government!

It would work well until one of the crossers cried unfair and won a mega suite that some Lib American judge awards them for wrongful injury.

That thing reminds me of a huge fly. The way the motor sounds and the way it looks just reminded me right away of that.
