I am starting to grow bored of the same music over and over. There are very very few new songs that I like anymore, so I am hoping I can get some good ideas of some lesser known bands you guys like.
I am really into Rap Metal type stuff. I just recently discovered "(hed) p.e." who I am really enjoying. I LOVE Korn too. I know of all the main stream bands, so I am not really interested in them.
I really enjoy bands like Korn, Disturbed, Limp Bizkit, Pantera (newer), Sepultura, System of a Down, you should have an idea from that. I DESPISE the new alternative stuff. Green Day, Panic at the Disco, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus... yuck.
Also, if anybody listens to rap here, I would gladly listen to some lesser known rappers too.
Thanks guys!!!

www.serjtankian.comSerj Tankian has a solo album out. It sounds like System of a Down but that's because he is the voice of that group. It is pretty good I think. Other than that everything out there is the same ole' same ole. Also, you can always rely on Tenacious D. (Jack Black & Kyle Gass) They don't have any new stuff to speak of but if your not familiar with them you are in for a treat. BB

Thanks blue, I have Serj's stuff already, but I'll check out tenacious D. I've seen their movie, I didn't know they actually made music though.

Tenacious D rocks!! Master exploder, Tribute and Wonder Boy are my personal favorites...Jack Black's vocal talents are unbelievable. And Kyle Gass could possibly be the best acoustic guitarist on the planet. They write and perform. I can't wait until their next tour. If you get a chance to see them in concert, GO.

Try internet radio. There's hundreds of stations playing stuff you've never heard before.
Red: Tenacious D is satire. They're mocking those elements of rock, showing how rediculous and shallow it is.

Faith No More & Rage Against The Machine -- the 2 most influential bands of metal-rap fusion. I assume you listen to them, Pres? If not, that's all the "new" material you'll need for a looooong time ;D
