Have you seen the followup ad (might be more than one, I've only seen one so far) to the Seinfeld/Gates Microsoft bomb ads? It's a bunch of different people saying "I'm a PC." LOL, it was done on a Mac.
As the article footnote explains, that's not uncommon in business today (what??? with all the windows users and machines far outnumbering Mac users and machines, they still can't make Macs in business "unusual"), but it is an embarrassment for Microsoft.
Furthermore, removing the metadata after the fact is a double embarrassment. That sounds like something being done by the Daily Kos's or Obama's website. "If it ain't there today, it never was there and the average joe won't know anyway."
Yeah, we know there are lots of people "using" Windows, but seeing their faces ain't gonna make anyone forget the visual impact of the cute little PC vs. Mac ads which so cleverly point out the vista/windows deficiencies and the Mac advantages. Especially when I know good and well that 75% of those faces would brighten significantly if they actually tried a Mac! (and the other 25% are either too stubborn to change or too obstinate to admit it!). The ad is a little on the stuffy, "arts and croissants" side, too, with little side lectures (such as speaker looking down his nose at us and saying "I"m a human BE-ing, not a Do-ing or Think-ing, a BE-ing." (hope I got that quote right). And with all those strange and at times heavy accents, they'd better be careful muttering "I'm a pzy."
Here is a very well-written and slightly different point of view, too:

snippet:
Windows is not the Mac’s rival or competitor. It is the omnipresent homogenizer that weighs PC down.
It doesn’t matter whether that is actually true. The point is that this is the role Apple has reduced Windows to in this advertising campaign. Windows is regular. The default. The norm. Mac OS X and the software that runs on it is special. It is something that the Mac can never lose and which the PC can never have.
And so what makes Microsoft’s new “I’m a PC” commercials so jaw-droppingly bad is that they’re not countering Apple’s message, but instead they’re reinforcing it. That the spots themselves jump between dozens of different people who “are” PCs, that the spots make a point of emphasizing that there are a billion Windows-running PCs worldwide, this only emphasizes that “PC” is not a brand name but a generic.
Microsoft’s new ads emphasize the same message as Apple’s: that the Mac is the one and only brand-name computer in the world.
Wow, I feel so.....special!!!
