Uhmmm, what's the point, and is there some conclusion to this? We've never concerned ourselves with points or conclusions before, why start now? ;D

Some times there does not need to be a point for something to be funny.
case in point.. Charlie the Unicorn.
Several people thought it was funny. I'm not one of them, but the point is that the vid was pointless.

But was it based on a true situation, or just totally made up, and if so, why (what was the context of its creation), etc.? It seemed to me to be just stupid and pointless, totally devoid of any humor. Unlike Charlie, which was annoyingly funny and had an underlying idea of organ-theft (a modern fear and urban legend).

Humor is not something that can be explained, if it needs to be explained the joke has lost all meaning. People have different senses of humor, I myself hate the in your face humor like people just randomly throwing up. I don't think that is funny at all, but many people think that it the funniest stuff out there.

Some idiot would pay money for it!!!! are you talking about that picture of the spider or the idiots that are bidding thousands of dollars for tickets to the upcoming presidential inaguration(that might be bogus anyway cause none have even been given out yet) that are passed out for free..i think the picture of the spider is worth more LOL

Annoying people by saying outrageous things perfectly seriously is a high art. It takes many years to hone that skill to a sharp edge. When you have reached zen-master status, people will start to look for hidden meanings in everything you say, even when there isn't one.
