If thats the opening date, then it must be good as all the big hits seem to open within a few weeks of my birthday..the scifi stuff anyway. Allways thought it was pretty cool that all the new starwars movies came out like that if I remember right...checks wiki

looks excellent!! here is one that comes out on 12/12/08 ..i have the original on DVD ..and has been said it was one of the best when it was made in 1951 for a no tech movie (no spinning hubcaps suspended from strings,rubber fakey looking monsters and no supposed super intelligent aliens from space that have to look in a book to see what plan 9 is( that 1 dubbed the worst sci -fi movie in the history of existence) THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL was good..the new one looks good too www.thedaytheearthstoodstillmovie.com |

The May date has been long associated with the end of the school year (government secondary schools), but the movie dates have been slipping further and further earlier while the school end dates have been moving further toward and into June, it seems to me.
Besides, Vampires only go in the cool of the night at the midnight showings, anyway!

lol never have done that.. But went to the sneak preview of the last pirates movie, and more than half the people in the packed theater were dressed like pirates.
