I have the complete seasons of Stargate sg1, going to get the full seasons of SGA (star gate Atlantis) , and looking forward to the Stargate universe.
I watched the first season of BSG but lost interest in it. Too many flash backs, and always with the skin job that no one could see but the traitor dude. It just did not have the same feel and appeal to me as the original series. Yeah I know the original was cheesy but I liked the story.
It's all about tastes.

I felt the same about the new bsg at first also. It was annoying to try and follow. Every time it came on at the times I was catching it, it was yak yak yak, and nothing blowing up lol.
I think it was either the second or third season before I tried it again, then I went back and watched what I missed.

Well, it has already been revealed in the previous episode that Ti's wife is #5, unless of course the writers decide to twist the plot and say his memories of her were false, and unless of course the writers decide to make her a flawed older version of the Diana's, or unless the writers.....you get the picture. I don't see why there can't be a 13th skinjob, too, one for each "tribe" or colony, just unknown to all. And based on past episodes, I think it's Kara Thrace. But once again, the writers can do whatever they want.

hmmm i missed that about Ti's wife in previous episode. In the preview it just seemed like it might have been Ti dreaming or something. The thing with Gaita was at the end when he looked at his leg and said hmm it stopped, then you heard the firing squad. It reminded me of the music the others were hearing when it stopped.
But your right, who knows what the writers will twist it into. I figured Baltar would be leader of the cylones by now like in the the old series, or turned out to be one himself but maybe it's the President lol.

Uh, I said Diana's, but I meant the blondes, the 6's.
And what it was in the previous episode, was when the skinjobs were on Earth and having memories of a life there, and Ti remembered his wife with him there from 2000 years earlier, and the nuclear attacks, and her dying in his arms and her saying basically, "it'll be ok, it's all pre-arranged." But since Ti had already killed her in modern times, that meant she had resurrected at least once even though no one knew it (just as it had to have happened to Ti, Tyrol, Anders, etc.), so she had to be a skinjob too.
But writers can do anything. Recall that an entire season of the TV show Dallas turned out to be a dream.
And Gaita's itching and hurting at his stump, which were driving him nuts, ironically stopped, just as he was about to be killed. Thus his expression, "Huh!? It stopped." I don't think it's related to the possibility of his being a cylon.

I never watched Dallas, but that's a very cool writing idea. I must have missed that part of the episode about him remembering. I'll have to watch it again.

It's the same ep that had Starbuck finding her dead mummified body in the cockpit of her crashed viper on Earth (or whatever those jet like planes they fly and fight in are called).

OK, so I watched the first of the last two episodes, still one behind. A lot was revealed in that one episode. Let me get this strait, the final 5 built the others but forgot who they are? Looks that way, but because one of their offspring, John Cavill, turned against them, overpowered them, imprisoned them, boxed them for a while, and then gave the 5 and some others of the skin-jobs (for example, Boomer) false memories and controlled them and put them in situations with programming to do things (such as Boomer's shooting Admiral Adama). The 5 also re-created resurrections even though they could reproduce then, and that's how they escaped the earth nuclear holocaust. They negotiated with the centurions (non skin-job cylons) to stop the cylon war on humanity by offering to help them with the skin-job process. One of the skin-jobs, the D'Anna (Lucy Lawless), saw the faces of the final 5 due to some weird event, and John Cavill accused Ellen of having orchestrated that, but Ellen said it was God that did it (the Centurions' One True God). There is another skin-job model we've not seen, an artistic one, Daniel, whose model was poisoned from the get-go in the growing tanks by jealous mommy-loves-you-more John Cavill and thus (I guess) doesn't exist anymore. I would need to watch this episode again to see if any of the above is incorrect or misunderstood or mis-stated, but I think it's about what I thought I heard.

www.scifi.com/rewind/Several of the more recent episodes are available to watch on line. I am almost caught up; I have one more ep to watch, the most recent, and it's on videotape at home (not on the web until after next week's episode). It is tense, and dark, and gritty, as always, which is why I really really really like this show.
