It won't be long before Apple attracts the attention of the liberals now. They're almost evil (successful) enough to be classed with other enemies of humanity, like Wal-Mart or pharmaceutical companies. The government will probably eventually fine Apple a few billion dollars for requiring proprietary hardware for their software, or for not including Windows IE in the OS (see European Union). The tallest nail gets pounded down first!
I'm sure that Windows Vista did get quite a few people to switch to MACs, and they may not be coming back. But my guess is that those that explored other OSes like Linux will probably switch to Windows 7 because of how insanely easy it is to set up.
MAC has always had the advantage of building all the hardware (or at least setting the standards) that the user might hook up and certifying the software. So they could pretty much guarantee compatibility in any configuration. Most Windows problems come from the user building some crazy mix of hardware that the Win designers never considered, and then using software from 50 different sources. The monster database of drivers that Windows 7 has built in, plus its compatibility manager, takes away some of MAC's advantage without restricting the owner from using whatever odd setup he wants.

LOL RR... It is your right too by a mac if you wish. I feel zero class envy. LOL What I am saying is EVEN if I could afford a Mac, I would not buy one. If some one gave me one I would sell it and buy a PC with all the bells and whistles. And do not doubt the Messiah he may yet hand out free pc's, the great white adulterator decided everyone should have high speed broadband available too them and all schools and collages should have free access too it. In fact he made it law and we pay for it.

Right! I mean, after you invent the internet, you kind of have to have everyone use it for "free," so they can twitter and facebook and read truth and coolness put out by the internet inventor's friends, right?
