They are turning up the heat so fast that some of the frogs ARE noticing. Some of these crazy bills they're submitting now won't pass, and they're angering more and more people. Some things might get overturned later, and there may even be a big upset during the next elections. But all that will really happen is that the heat will get turned down a little and we'll all be too relieved to notice that its still way too hot. All they have to do is stop and toss us a few small bones, and then wait until we get used to all the restrictions on our freedom and then start slowly turning up the heat again.

We've already established that the Constitution is NOT the spreme law of the land, and not an absolute limiter to what the government can do. So all evil has to do now is be patient, because there is no depravity that won't eventually be accepted as normal when there's no fixed standard to measure it by.

So as they slide in one compromise after another and the people become complaisant a little at a time. Pretty soon we will be living a old USSR style life, and everyone will think it is great. Except those of us that remember the days when we were free.

Glen Beck and Rush had info on the Diversity Chief (or Czar or other Obamaterm) for the FCC who's planning to implement the Fairness doctrine even more dramatically, effectively cutting out conservative talk radio, by other measures than the Fairness Rule itself--by minority representation in ownership and local staffing and similar unimportant crap, as I understood it, heavily taxing and fining and taking away FCC licenses on talk radio channels that don't have enough minorities involved/working/owning where a program (such as Rush's) is locally broadcast, or if some nebulous community board decides the programming is too unbalanced, etc. Again, it's so nebulous and undefined and illogical and outside written law that it's hard to characterize/understand without a lot of word parsing, but it's real and will be implemented if we don't do something. If I can find a good writeup/description of it, I'll post that. Saw this last night on Fox news but wasn't able to take notes or understand it all.

I don't need too watch that to know what they are believing. Cant even sit down to watch tv anymore with out GW being shoved down my throat on almost every chan.


To me that is about the same logic as saying I should read the Satanic bible so I know how to argue against devil worshipers.
