Never ask what kind of computer a person uses--if it's a Mac, he'll say; if not, why embarrass him?

That's very interesting, quite ambitious. Watching it, I'm struck with how.....Microsoft-like.....the software interface is. Not very intuitive and lots of hidden bells and whistles. The TechBoys will love it.
I'll wait for the easy to use Apple version.

Here's another tablet that's alot closer to actually being on the market. Resolution is 1024x600, like many netbooks. After playing with some displays, I've decided that I won't buy anything without at least 768 vertical resolution. 1024x768 has be the standard for so long that many programs have dialog boxes that are close to this tall. With a 600 vertical screen, buttons at the bottom of the box are completely hidden and unclickable. www.crunchgear.com/2009/09/24/archos-9-tablet-due-october-22-for-499/

Watched the vid on it.. Not that impressed. For the price they could have added a lot more features too it. No reason with our level of tech these days that it could not contain a cell phone, faster processor, more ports, and have a fully responsive touch screen.
I wont be buying one of these over priced PDA's.
