Free songs, movies, games and so on and so on. Sounds like good deal but thought I would ask you guys since you have helped me with so much in the past. www.forteinc.com/main/homepage.php

Unless there is something I'm missing (I only gave it a causal examination), I don't see any advantage over other free services.
Maybe a better way to approach it would be say what you want to use it for, and see if we can suggest other options for doing that.

I would like to get mp3 songs and full albums and movies for free. stuff that I could download and burn to a disc to have in my own personnel collection.
Hate to pay for things I can get for free. For ex. I looked all over for a DVD decrypter and almost bought one when a friend of mine told me where I could get one for free on the Internet.

If that service really does what you think it does, then do you really want your name and credit card info on file with them? Eventually they will get caught, and you'll be in trouble too.
Paying someone else to steal for you is a much more serious crime then just copying a disc you borrowed from a friend.
If you are going to make "back-ups" of copywrited material, do it with items that you have physically in your possesion (at least temporarily). Downloading it from the internet is just begging for viruses, spyware, or legal action.

That was something I was worried about. This is why I run this stuff by you guys first. I used to belong to bearshare which was the same type of thing, I don't think it's illegal have heard of more then one web site like these.
Does anyone know of a descent place to get stuff like this or are we against this all together?
Thanks Lam

Newsgroup From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A newsgroup is a repository usually within the Usenet system, for messages posted from many users at different locations. The term is somewhat confusing, because it is usually a discussion group. Newsgroups are technically distinct from, but functionally similar to, discussion forums on the World Wide Web. Newsreader software is used to read newsgroups. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newsgroup
