Never ask what kind of computer a person uses--if it's a Mac, he'll say; if not, why embarrass him?

It will be interesting to see if they design it to be an extra-large iPhone or an extra-small MacBook. Each would attract a different kind of customer. I would prefer to see the comming tablets have computer-style operating systems, rather than phone or PDA type interfaces.

I have to agree with that, Lamron, and with previous general comments made here and in that link I gave, about the price of new Apple technology: closer to $600 will go over big, but closer to $1000 I think will be poorly-received.

Well, supposedly the iPad was announced, but I've not yet seen it or heard much about it, although supposedly Rush said a lot about it. I'll have to look for news about it, google it, etc., tomorrow when I have more time.

LOL, that's funny.
In the "Hitler Responds to iPad" he calls it a "f***n'g tampon"! So I guess your link, Lamron, is a hole in one, if you'll pardon the expression.

It seems like some manufacturers live in an alternate universe and have absolutely NO connection to this one.
MW2 destroyed its PC market by REMOVING essential features that had already been developed.
Bushmaster doubles the price of the ACR while at the same time removing some of its most attractive features. You can now buy 2-3 better rifles for the same amount of money. Why even bother making any?
Apple spends tons of money and research to create a completely new device that is STILL missing the one thing that every iPhone user has been complaining about since day one.
