I enjoyed the Stargate sequel series, can't recall name, where they were on the alien ancient ship flying to who knows where and without control and trying to figure it out while ship kept trying to die, etc. Never watched the other series episodes, it all seemed so very cheesy in the commercials as to makeup and acting. Keep seeing in my mind that chubby black guy with the spoon brand in his forehead and his wooden emotionless face, and clearly the writers and camera people thought there were showing us some cool tough dude we were supposed to immediately want to watch. Bleccch.

Did anyone see the first Iron Sky?
It was pretty funny and plot was interesting having a Nazi base on the moon in present day.
Iron Sky 2 comes out next month it seems.

Iron Sky was a weird movie. It had this very strange mix of great sets and special effects, but the dialog and acting and storyline were incredibly bad. I'm still confused about whether its supposed to be a parody and funny, or if it was seriously that awful. The new one looks like more of the same, very well made and horrifically bad.

I know what you mean, it had some really funny parts in it, neat concept and effects with moonbase and space zepplins but I agree wierd. lol

I did not care for Iron Sky.. They ruined a good enough funny sci fi by using it to spew their political agenda. (In case no one noticed the POTUS was supposed to be Sarah Palin) Why cant we just have shows and movies anymore without the political messages woven in?

The first 3 episodes were pretty neat, but they are only like 12 minute shorts.
So I don't know yet if they are leading into a series or not.
