Never ask what kind of computer a person uses--if it's a Mac, he'll say; if not, why embarrass him?

Looks like Total Recall 2012 will be a good sci-fi flick. I don't remember Arnold's version, so that's even better!

The original Red Dawn, while hokey ("Wolverines!!!!") was enjoyable back in the day. I do look forward to this one. I hope by that time we have good election news, too, to help with the fantasy of it (and not the potential reality).

OK, so I've finally seen all the Marvel movies and Avengers. Man, that Avengers was great! But who was the big bad dude at the very end, the one in the other.....universe?.....with a face like Ben Grimm. He was ? "the Other"? or what? And what's going to happen, he will invade Earth again?

Yes on page 5 of "New Movie Release" thread, the only name I didn't mention was Thanos. This implies a serious magical battle...errr supposed to be magical because Adam Warlock and Dr Strange, and Galactus get involved then all of reality is in danger blahh blahh blahh but in the [recent] FF movie they sent Galactus to another plane of existence, so they better be creative if he's involved again Saturday morning cartoon.. This what the children based "Under 12 I'd guess" Marvel Super Hero Squad show is based upon, locating infinity gems. yeah yeah, I've watched it [more than once] I couldn't collect all the crossover comic books, but I got alot of the main ones. Maybe this will tie in all the Marvel movies Spidy, Fantastic 4, X-men, Avengers, maybe even daredevil, they all had their own part in the infinity gem, infinity war, and then infinite watch series's.. sereez's....rrrr the multiple infinity stuffs Just the Infinity series was huge in itself, lots of money in making the films, the stories are already done up, they just have to film them. Just think about the Predator Movies...they are fairly accurate in the comics, but what's interesting is 1987 Predator the movie came out with Arnold. The comic version that came out was called Concrete Jungle (New York).... Dutch (Schwarzenegger) was in the Jungle (in the movie), it was kind of a collage of the Predator 1 and 2 movies, because Predator 2 movie was in new york, not the jungle. It's confusing, but all I'm saying is there are endless awesome stories out there, they just need to be put to film... If you like cool stories like that, you should look up Batman vs Predator. Talk about a very cool Batman story.... This fanmade film was based on it. www.theforce.net/fanfilms/nonsw/batman_deadend/index.aspNote on above link...other cool stuff here such as sry for yakking so much...I just don't get to talk about comics that often anymore

Thanks for that fan film, Major, but I don't get it. I guess it might help if I'd seen Alien v. Predator? What's the point, and what's going to happen next, and why are the aliens backing Batman, when he was fighting one earlier? I'm confused.
And I'm totally lost when you talk about that infinity stuff. Maybe tomorrow I'll google it.

O drat, I guess I was assuming you had seen the AvP movies. I get to yakking and I get ahead of myself sometimes too and that doesn't help. Also your right, the Infinity stuff is confusing, especially when I try to explain so much in a relatively small description. The batman fanfilm was based on the comic story of batman vs predator but he only did a snippet of the story line. It was kind of a what if situation if someone actually decided to make that storyline an actual feature film. The Predators take Alien embryo's and hunt them as rights of passage [the first AvP movie] and in some cases when they aren't hunting humans like Pred 1 & 2, take the embreo's and release them to hunt for sport as well on various planets. The last movie "Predators" based on a planet where they gathered wildlife from all over the place and dropped it off there using the planet as a giant game reservation. www.imdb.com/title/tt1424381/The new movie Prometheus showed how the Alien came to be and at the end, one of it's evolutions into the look it currently has. that won't make sense until you see that movie as well though. www.imdb.com/title/tt1446714/Alot of the really high quality fanfilms are done as projects from film and special FX students. This is a another neat example of so very time consuming video special FX if you like light sabre duels.

It might be slightly less confusing if you know the Alien VS. Predator movies are part of the Predator universe, but not part of the Aliens universe.

I said pretty close to that same thing when reading about split DNS's a few days ago, and I still don't get it. ...don't feel bad at all... I can't read this even, but if you can...... I mean I just randomly pulled this equation out of a weird dream, probly doesn't mean anything

Well, that's.....random......major.
I'm guessing that's an equation for the decline in temperature of a dead body to see how long it's been since the temperature started declining. Rt would be room temp, T is measured body temp, 98.6 is "normal" body temp, and then it's negative 10 x the natural log of the ratio of the difference between measured and normal body temps compared to room temp, to give the time internal.
But it's all CSI BS, that stuff doesn't really work and is not really useful in the real world for time of death estimation.
But I'm just guessing at your dream equation.
