Never ask what kind of computer a person uses--if it's a Mac, he'll say; if not, why embarrass him?

When I was a teenager, I was part of a homeschooling group that went to a "career camp". About twelve 14-18 year old boys stayed in a church for a week, and every day we would go to a different work site for a different industry. At each location, they would show us how they did their particular trade and let us try using some of the tools.
These where all union shops, so they would give us the hard sell on why union trades training was the best thing ever. And how they would protect us from the evil person who dared give us a job and would pay for the training if we committed to never using those skills in a non-union job.
By the end of the week, every last boy there swore we would NEVER join a union. Listening to the unitards speaking so excitedly about virtual slavery to the unions and about the extortion rackets they were running on business owners was pretty sickening to us all.
