Once you get spoiled to 20mbs, you'll never want to use anything slower again. Brighthouse is offering to bump me up to 40mbs for another $20 a month, but money is pretty tight right now.

I honestly don't know what Comcast is using in my area, but here's what I got off speedtest.net just now: It seems like just yesterday I was downloading maps for my FPS Marathon, and it took 2.5 hours to DL a 4 Mb map with AOL dial-up and a 56K Modem! Now I get huge, 60 Mb maps and mods, in just seconds when I play Call of Duty! This is one modern marvel that I just love!

25 down and 4 up...seems comcast is being generous in your area. They may be doing that in this area also now that fiber moved in.
I'm still trying to figure out how to connect my pc to the tv with this box.

My tv is too old to allow me to connect with it except via some clunky video cables, and then it serves only as a low-quality monitor. If I buy a new tv, it will have the new connections (hdmi) and then I'll also buy an Apple-TV connector so I can wirelessly stream internet, music, and video from my macs (incl. net-flix) to the new tv. see store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_ipod/family/apple_tv?mco=MTM3NTM1Nzk

OMG... DROOOOL..... 300 DOWN!!! 150UP!! they should also have picked the members of a random, website, of i don't know, some (Playground), website ;D and given all it's WIDE spread location members fiber for free so they could test random long distances. ...just think what Destroyed Village would be like in a 32 person LP server!!! with a flow rate like that every game that's never been able to max out their servers for whatever reason usually cost, but anyone, anywhere in the world could play at the same level as someone 100 miles from the server. I have talked to a few people though recently IN THE BIZ that work for fiber in the area, one of which is a regular sales guy that frequents the store..give me the impression that speeds that high can burn up equipment if not throttled back somehow. I don't know if this is true, but it kinda makes sense. I'm not a fiber or network guru or anything, just sayin' what I got the impression of. Having said that, it kinda made me wonder what that little box was for. LMAO it's probly a key logger for cops when they decide to raid your house and don't have to knock anymore
