Ok now I know why the bloomin game would not work  Ya where right BLOOMIN drivers, took 3 days to find the right ones AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I reinstalled windows from scratch but had not the drivers for my card (hand built PC) so hada serch for em. Theres something to be said for shop baught machines, they come with ONE disc with all the drivers for ALL the hardware on it. Tried drivers after drivers to find the right one, the card is a Nvidia GeForce 6800 (run hot i can tell ya) now you trie and find the drivers for it?. Ok whine over I got it running so happy now ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D |

It sux to have to do a format and reinstall... I just had to do it after four years of use on my home made PC. But I will NEVER own a Mac because they are just too limited in software applications and they cost WAAAAAAYYYYYYYY too much than the PC I can build myself. GLAD to have you back!

Nope, just out of town and only now getting my Mom's cranky windows box to let me use Firefox instead of MS Explorer! Yep, Macs costs more. Do you want a VW or a Mercedes? You get what you pay for. Too limited applications? What, you need or want to run all 700 Windows word processors at the same time, or like the rest of the grit-eating world, do you really only need and use one? Hmmmm, MS Windows runs on both platforms seamlessly, but you can run any of the other several Mac word processors too, if you want. Or perhaps you would like to play a game? Geeeeee, too bad I can't play MOH, Quake4, Halo, COD2, etc., etc. on my Mac. Oh, wait, I do. And with the Macintel units out now (I have one), I can play any Windows game and run almost any Windows software, anyway, as far as I know, if I want to or need to. Pardon me while I retch, though. So, nice try. |
