Well, It's Friday, Feb 18th and last night my wife and I went to Motley Crue's openning US concert in Sunrise Florida. Man what a show! I've seen them 4 times previously and this ranks as one of the BEST! We meet alot of really cool people and the Crue played their entire hit list...about 3 hours with no openning act! Great stuff! When they come to your town, I suggest seeing them...!

I went to a Crue/Ozzy concert way waay waaay back in the 80's when I was still in High School. It was their first tour and all I remember of it is that they were better then Oz. Don't think I could handle that scene anymore, to tell you true(lol), let alone tell you if I remember much of it since the state of my mind was pretty clouded in those days. I've gotten older and much wiser since those partying days, I'm an old soldier now whos only desire for anything loud involves the shooting range with hearing protection. If my son starts wanting to go concerts like this, I'm drug testing him when he gets back, lol.
I sat on responding to your post awhile wanting to sooner but I didn't quite know how, since I feel more like an old man. Being that I'm in my late 30's with children. I wanted to share your enthusiasm, but couldn't muster my teenage spirit. If it was anything like how I feel when I get in a grove, fragging at the Playground, then I'm thrilled for you and your wifes Crue concert experience.
I've yet to meet you in a match. I look forward to it, DD......

Saw Grand Funk Railroad about 3 years back, live in a small auditorium with no alcohol, no smoking, no drugs atmosphere. Had never seen them "back in the day" but man, was it ever SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL. Went out and bought the Bosnia double CD after that, and it was basically the same concert, so I get to relive it whenever I want. Prior to that, my favorite concerts (when I was young) had been Heart and ZZ Top, and as an old fart, BareNaked Ladies (several times). So I know what you guys mean. Enjoy!
