You just can't imagine what I have been going through these past few months. I had another busy year so I didn't have anytime for gaming. I have been looking forward to getting back on to the front-line with you guys for quite a while, but, I was a little worried.

I was worried that I would get here and find out that no one else would be playing MOH anymore. I was also very worried that Lam's Playground might be gone! Can anyone even imagine that!?!

When I logged in to Lam's website, I started to read forums immediately just to see who was still around. It brought a smile to my face to see that most of you are still playing. Being killed by total strangers is just no fun. (No one ever stabbed me quite like Marauder does it) ;D

I think that I have all of the new maps and the V8 fix downloaded so I should be set for some fun fun fun real soon. I don't know if you guys will have any fun blasting me to bits though as I have gained about 12 pounds and of course, will be very "rusty". Just consider me as "beginner target practice"....

(question for Lamron... when we download these zzzz fixes, do we only need the latest one? I mean that the "fixes" are labeled as "client fixes" or "map-mods"I still have the zzzLamrons-map-mods-v8 in TA yet, do I need to delete that one?
I actually don't delete anything, I just place it in a different folder just in case I still might need it. That saves download time in case I screw up)

when I see ya..don't worry...I'll welcome you back M style. Wondered what happened top you..but there are so many players that have changed their names now is hard to figure out who is who(except members..we haven't). I'll bring ya up to speed as fast as I can..dodging airstrikes might help increase your agility. Also my style of stabbing I like to call the "Holy SH**!" factor..cause that is the feeling I seem to cause in most when I sneak up and do it.

Hi, Silly! Welcome back.

I'm sure Lam will explain more, but those map mod files are needed only if you are going to set up your own server and use Lam's mods on that server. To come into the LP or LK, you just need the client fix and the custom maps.

And a Kevlar vest, knife-proof model preferred.

PS, have you gone to IHATEMAR.COM yet?

I also noticed the little quote that Lamron has on the bottom of his posts. That one really got me laughing.

I got to join some good gun-fighting-games today. Well, I spawned, took a few steps, and then got pulverized...... but at least I felt like I participated ;D
