Ahhhh, greenbar paper has green bars alternating with the white bars so you can follow the rows better for totals. I guess I have never used the greenbar stuff. However, I think I could name off a few Lumber yards that still do.
8 inchers, holy crap. Could you play those on your LP player too? LMAO. I never did get to see those.
I still remember this one day where my younger brother was upset because he sat on his floppy. (he had it in his back pocket and it became bent/creased when he sat down).
Since I had no idea what a floppy was at that time, you can imagine the laughter that came with my response, "You bent your WHAT, when you sat down?!"
My little Brother did forgive me for laughing and did start helping me out with those confusing machines. Of course I only learned the basics at that time so I could make the computer work for me, like they said a computer was supposed to do, i.e. spreadsheets and such for billing.
Then I felt like I was "Living it large", lol, as DS put it. (sigh) that was a long long time ago, in a not-so-far-away galaxy...
