I thought that I would share a photo of my Marine. I took this photo in December of 2005 at his Boot camp graduation. My son is due to ship out to Japan within 5 days. He is one of the lucky ones and works on repairing aircraft hydraulics parts. I am Hoping that he never needs to carry a weapon. I am at a loss for words trying to describe how proud I am of him. It sure is an odd feeling though. It seems like only yesterday he and I were playing video games together...and in a blink of an eye, he became a man. Getting teary-eyed now so I guess I will leave it at that.  |
