I went and saw the Grindhouse Double Feature last night and WOW! It was the most outrageous, over the top, insane movie(s) I've seen in a long time. I enjoyed it thoroughly, but I don't even know if I can safely recommend it to anyone. Its kind of a love it or hate it movie. They're old drive-in style 70's B-grade horror movies taken to extreme. The visual effects are great. The first movie, "Planet Terror", has a VERY high gross-out factor, and the second, "Death Proof", has a great car chase scene. Before the first movie and during intermission they show fake trailers for other unbelievable movies. Quentin Tarantino is a mad genius!
This movie is not for the faint of heart, weak of stomach, or for anyone with good taste. You'll either walk out in the first 15 minutes, or you'll laugh your self silly for three hours.
Has anyone else seen it?

didn't see grindhouse yet.. went and saw Perfect Stranger last night.. wife loved it, I counted the seats in the theater to stave off boredom. If you like who done it movies that don't give you the information you need to solve it till the last 5 min then you will love this movie.. sad performance by Bruce Willis. Did see previews for the new Die hard movie.. it looks like it will be good.. I will catch Grind House soon also wanted to see Wild Hogs.

Here's an interesting review of the movie: www.aintitcool.com/node/32030[glow=red,2,300] CAUTION: [/glow]Not work safe, kid safe, wife safe, etc. Lots of profanity and rude commentary in this "review". I only posted it because it is an ACCURATE review of the movie! If you find anything in this review offensive, don't waste your money on the movie. You'll get up and walk out three minutes into it. The movie is WAY more intense than described in the review! (I'm a sick puppy, ask anyone....)

Has anyone else seen it? I watched this movie last week at Cineban and I loved every second of it. Being a Tarantino fan anyway and loving Pulp Fiction, Kill Bills, etc.....nothing in this movie surprised me at all. It was everything I expected it to be, right down to the guy who collected his victims balls.
