went to the premier tonight and saw it, (the 3rd in the series) It was very good.. is long about almost 3 hours but well worth it. If you like the series you wont be disappointed.. anyone else go see it tonight?

3 hrs is too long to sit in a theater for $7.50 with sticky floors, broken seats, crying babies, ringing cell phones, and talking teens. I'll drop the kids off for it, but I'll wait for the DVD. I'm glad you think it's good, now I will look forward to it, rather than simply scheduling it as something to do at Christmas. I really like Johnny Depp as an actor. Loved Edward Scissorhands.

of all the movie theaters i have went to i have never encountered any of those problems. maybe you should turn off your cell phone,dont jump on the seats and behave yourself. LOL ;D i go to the 5.75 matinee at 1 theater or the 4.50 at another. both before 6pm (not on the same day ,before any of you say it LOL)

I've seen those theaters, but those are the cheap ones that show movies that are out of main theaters, but not on DVD yet. Theres a name for it, but I can't think of it. But those ones suck, as red said, sticky floors broken seats popcorn everywhere. the works.

They aren't talking about the cheap, second-run theaters. They are talking about nearly every major theater. Before certain times of the day the cost of the day is cheaper by several dollars per ticket...usually before 5pm or so. I'm betting your theater has the same deal, President. I don't see many movies at the theaters, but when I do I nearly always try to go to the matinee. Cheaper and not nearly as crowded. The late shows really blow as that is when all the teeny-boppers go, usually in loud, obnoxious, disrespectful packs.

I was pleasantly surprised when I went to see this movie.. was very noisy and annoying before the show started but as soon as the movie came on you could hear a pin drop in there (figuratively speaking) my only gripe was waiting in line for pop corn for 20 min because their employees were slow.

It seems there is always the one group of people buggin the crap outta everyone in all the movies I see. And I'm almost always the first to say something. I'll be polite the first and second times, but after that I go to, would you just shut up, its a movie theater, we all payed to see this and you are ruining it. If that doesn't work I tell them I'm going to get someone to remove them, and start walking away. Most of the time they give in, but sometimes they say, do it then, so I do it.

I love it when that happens, because the whole theater will clap as they take them away

just heard on the way home from work that the director told the actors not to bathe and brush their teeth so it would give some authenticy to the pirates. oh and i thought that was you woody streaking by.
