If it was me getting the money, I would be excited lol. I'm not sure if its going to hit the reserve or not. Theres only 2 days left, but over 100 watchers. He has $105k invested in the car right now, so hopefully it hits the mark. We saw a few of these cars go for around $140k at the Meachem Auto auction that was here in IL and they looked like they had seen a few miles. There was another one that belonged to Reggie Jackson, but it was beat to hell and still went for $120k.

I'm in the knuckle busting mode on the 51 Chevy panel truck right now.
Have Stage 1 Buick 455 sitting in the corner that would make that puppy scream...
Makes Chevy guys puke tho.. what says this group on that plan?

My projects are a bit smaller. I tore apart a Cub Cadet lawn tractor that had an engine that went kaput.
I took apart the tractor, tore the mower deck off of it. Made a frame for the mower deck. Took an 11 horse engine off of a Sears Craftsman mower that the frame went bad on. Now I hook it up behind my other 48" tractor/mower at an off-set angle for a 7 1/2 foot cutting swath. That cut down my mowing time from 5 1/2 hours to 2. I have some pictures of it around here somewhere....

Saw the pictures of him and Reggie standing by the car. Small World. I couldn't imagine owning a car like that, and if I did, I couldn't imagine selling it!!  . |
