It's a conspiracy! (things to be wary about)

This thread is a continuation of something that took on a life of it's own in another non-related thread. (Like that never happened before.) ;D
It's a GENERAL thread for just letting all of your anger and frustration out for whatever VEXES THEE. Go ahead, VENT a little, you can't get off-topic here. ;D
(continued from the "Medal of Honor AirBorne Alpha version" thread)
Nope, I haven't upgraded my operating system, I reinstalled it twice now because of an idiot online chat support person that works for the "G" company. (I wrote it like that because apparently, DS has experienced stuff like this before with the "G" company, and he still feels the rage. LMAO
I have been putzing with my own computers since 1996 when I bought my first Windows-based PC. I started to "learn" myself by installing my own upgrades. I always seemed to have trouble with clashes in my systems after I did these upgrades so I got a little skittish about doing that anymore. I also started to rely on other people for help but then I felt "beholding" to them and wasn't comfortable with that either. The real hilarious part about this is that a lot of people I know, consider me to be a computer genius. That just goes to show you how many totally-computer-illiterate people I know. Hard to believe, even for me.
The main reason I wrote all of this was of course to gain everyone's sympathy.... ;D
Actually that is not the case. It was intended to be a "Holy crap, can they really get away with all of that?" eye-opener for other Forum persons with the same computer aptitude that I have... relatively none. (and also, to let me vent just a tad)
One other thing to point out is that I was attacking both the "G" company and Microsoft. Microsoft's constant creations of new operating systems instead of fixing the one we had already is starting to wear my patience quite thin. Remember Windows 98? I loved that operating system after all the little bugs were worked out! Now, remember Windows ME? I never experienced that system personally, but I heard nothing but bad things about it.
Please don't misunderstand me. Vista has some great features in it but couldn't they have had those new features incorporated into XP somehow? Another thing I noticed about Vista is that the main "guts" are all still there, they just gave the system a face-lift so that it would look entirely new, and, drive us crazy because we can't find the system tool where it used to be. I would gladly pay for operating system updates rather than buying new operating systems that are not tried-and-true to-date and having to buy all new software upgrades.
No matter how good they get with encryption and security in these systems, someone else will always find the weak link and crack them anyway.
It is a big money-making-scheme with Microsoft and PC makers, So beware!
Oh, and thanks for the offers of aid you guys! I will take you up on those.... someday.
