Who's using a LCD monitor at something other than its native resolution? How bad does it look? I'm looking at 24"-28" monitors at 1920x1200. There's no way my video card can display at that high a resolution, and everything would be too small to read anyway. Supposedly, scaling the resolution on a LCD to a lower setting makes things blurry (screws up the 1:1 ratio of pixels), but how bad is it? Is it still better than a CRT or worse?

I have attempted to back mine off. I have a 20" wide screen monitor. I don't remember what the res is right now. (at work) but due to the wide screen ratio it was difficult to get the settings just right. It looked OK (clarity) but out of kilter.

Do you play MOH in the correct wide screen ratio, or is it stretched? Did you know you can use custom resolutions not listed in the game menus to properly show on wide screen monitors?

My Laptop is wide screen, It stretches the image a bit, but not so bad that I could not play.

Personally I never thought that the LCD was better than a CRT no matter what the resolution. Probably because of the plastic cover over the screen. I do want to thank you for reminding me to change my resolution settings on this 19". Watching movies, drafting, and touching up photos really sucked with the wide screen stretching out the screen. 1280 x 960 All better now, and still seems to be clear enough

To play MOH in custom resolutions, type these lines into your console with the numbers for your screen resolution:
r_customwidth 1280 r_customheight 960 r_mode -1 vid_restart
The menus will still look stretched, but the game will properly display a wider view. You will actually see more of the map at a time. Remember to un-"read only" your config file when making this change.
So how does it look to use a LCD at less than its native resoluton? Is it noticably blurry, or just a theoretical difference?

I can't tell, It seems the same as before.
I did notice that if I had it set on the wrong settings, it really looked weird, pixilated (<--not a real word) text, elongated photos, (opposite of the short and stubby ones earlier)
I haven't checked it out on the game settings though. I will do that later. Do I need to change it in the game if I have it set this way in my display settings?

Yes, you still need to change it in-game. Normally, you'd set the resolution you want to play at in the Video section of the menu, but the game doesn't support wide aspect resolutions. The codes I gave you above will force it to display whatever you want.

Is it the "config.csv"?

Crap. I was afraid you were gonna say that.
Curse you Windows Vistaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
(as you can plainly see in the screen-shot above, I do not have a "configs" folder anywhere in Main TA, or Main TT for that matter either)

Should look like this Silly. I'm not sure but I don't think Vista has anything to do with it.

I am missing all of those folders, unless Vista placed them somewhere else. I have found that other programs have parts placed in other folders on the hard drive.
A good example is my fax software. All the sub-folders are found in the main program folder on my C-drive, except one. The File Cabinet. The file cabinet is the file/folder that holds all of the documents that are pre-formatted into fax compatibility so when I "print-to-fax", the document goes into this folder. I couldn't find that folder anywhere so I wasn't able to send any of those documents, (pissed the heck outta me).
I called support, (Lamron is chuckling already), and they showed me where that folder went to. It was placed into a folder labeled C:\ProgramData. I believe that this is one of the reasons that so many software products need to be upgraded. Vista has drastic changes to it compared to the older versions of Windows.
I did try the search assistant, you know, that little guy who pops up and asks, "How may I annoy you today?" I tried other search options as well, looking for the Config and the screenshot folders. Vista never found them so I am guessing that Vista never allowed the creation of these folders from the beginning.
I am positive that I installed everything correctly this time so I am also almost positive that it must be a Vista problem.
again..... CURSE YOU VISTAAAAAA!
