Nice picture. I don't like it because it bothers me to look at an eye that close.  I am one of those people who can't even watch someone else put contacts in.   |

Nice picture. I don't like it because it bothers me to look at an eye that close. I am one of those people who can't even watch someone else put contacts in. And I thought that I was the only one who didn't like to watch contact inserting and removal. It is a cool idea for a photo.....maybe if one of us were to remove the red vein lines this would be more appealing. I was attending my Daughter's dance gig this past Thursday and before it began, the national anthem was played as it usually is when an event is held in a school. I was rather surprised at the number of students and even parents that showed no interest in even looking at the flag during the anthem. I never really took notice of other people while the anthem was being played before. I don't know if I want to anymore though as it was somewhat disturbing for me. Thanks for you support POP! Us confused Americans can really use it. |

I can't help it maybe im in the minority here.. I still get choked up when I hear the anthem played. It was especially moving at the Marine graduation I attended..
people become complacent and forget the amount of blood that has been spilled so we can hear that song and view that flag. I'm with you Silly, I find it disturbing when I see people not looking at the flag, talking or texting on their phones or talking while the anthem is played.
