www.bleacheatingfreaks.com/flash/games/popoint.htmlI've posted this game in the past, but it was lost when I got rid of the games forum. I use this to practice my speed/precision. I think it helps when you are using a rifle or sniper rifle against "hosers". You have to pretty much take an instant perfect shot to beat a MG up close. With a little practice, under 6 seconds should be easy. I can hit under 5.5 frequently, but here's my best: I'm guessing that those of you that are good with a rifle will have the best times at this game!

Dude, I really need you to tell me how to post a screen shot of these flash games. 4.562 Took a bit to adjust. Moving the mouse fast doesn't do a thing if you aren't accurately hitting the numbers. Every mis-click costs precious fractions of a second. Once I got into rhythm my eyes were actually one or two numbers ahead of my clicker. The fast times came when I could do that without any mis-clicks. Oh, and shouldn't the thread be titled, " Decrease your reaction time?" Update: 4.248 ! ;D (see below!)

You need a screen capture utility. Here's a free one: www.download.com/Screen-Print-Capture-32/3000-2384_4-10188787.html?tag=lst-0-4Use it to capture a picture of the active window. Then use a paint program to crop it down to what you're wanting to show. Then host the image on ImageShack, and post as usual. ------------------ I do it the same way you do. I don't look at the box I'm clicking, I look at the next box. With a little practice, you learn to accurately move the mouse the correct amount and click the box based on a mental snapshot of where it was. I think any good MOH player works the same way. You come around a corner and based on an instantaneous, one-frame mental snapshot, you move the crosshairs the correct amount that long hours have taught your mouse hand, and take the shot without ever seeing the crosshairs on your target. The player that consciously moves the crosshair to the target, confirms alignment, then fires, will usually be a tiny fraction of a second too late. ------------------------ Yes, it should be "decrease". It was late, I was thinking increase your speed.

Interesting you said this, I've been thinking about trying to play without crosshairs, to force this issue, but the trials so far have been dismal. I used to play this way with Marathon for the Mac, and I did quite well, including with arcing rocket-grenades (I still shoot them this way, ignoring the crosshairs), but with the long distance shots we do, I am unsure.

Desmo2, my old nemisis, you've given me grey hair trying to beat you, but here it is: I think we're coming close to the edge of what's physically possible. We're clicking at more than 3.5 blocks per second. Human reaction time is approximately one quarter second. Add the physical movement and mental decision of what number comes next, and I doubt we'll see more than another couple hundreths of improvement. By the way, if you hit 3 seconds, I'm DEFINATELY setting you on fire!

Geez! Just not satisfied with second-best, are you? ;D Instead of playing on LP, I'll be clicking numbers 1-15!

Sorry, it does not test or train reaction time, only recognition time; the rest is simply hand-eye coordination.

You're right, so I just started a new thread for another test that measures pure reaction time.
