Well the election is over, and I am thrilled to see Bush reelected and Kerry defeated. I always believed it would happen but its easy to fear the worst sometimes. We also have a clear majority in the House and Senate.
I will say this for Kerry, I respect that he was man enough to conceed the election when the results showed he was loosing. Al Gore's weeks of fighting, whining and crying after the last election annoyed even his supporters. Kerry put aside his pride and graciously conceeded, knowing that it was better for the country that way.
We don't talk about politics much on this server and forum, but comments made by several of you lead me to believe that you feel as I do. Thank you to everybody who voted for our President.

FOUR MORE YEARS!!! FOUR MORE YEARS!!! FOUR MORE YEARS!!!
Argue all you want about Bush's strengths and weaknesses. I support him, but I more strongly OPPOSED Kerry. I have reviewed his career beginning before Vietnam to present day, and I am convinced he is much more concerned about #1 and furthering his personal agenda than about serving the American people. He sure as HELL is not a viable Commander-in-Chief. I am now breathing a collective sigh of relief.

Hey, I'm there! And my eldest just turned 18 and cast her first vote ever---for Bush!!! She was thrilled. And I, too, am impressed and gratified that Kerry graciously ended it, even though I was hearing statements from his running mate, a trial attorney, to fight it out. Now we just need to get some good judges through the Senate process!!!

AMEN!! It made me so mad for someone to say, " I just dont like Bush", when asked why they were voting for Kerry. You cant vote on that premise, not knowing who you are voting for. The bottom line is, Bush may not be the best public speaker, but he has surrounded himself with the smartest/most qualified people. I feel safe knowing he is in control.
