Some weapons had crosshairs and some didn't. This was usually used as another advantage/disadvantage to tweak weapon balance. I decided to change that to being an "Upgrades" perk you can select if you want it.
Now, by default, weapons do NOT have crosshairs. But if you select the "Steady Aim" perk, not only does the weapon become more accurate, but now you'll have visible crosshairs all the time. You'll also be able to see how crouching and prone effect accuracy.
There are several exceptions:
- Lethal and Tactical throwable items will always have crosshairs.
- Ballistic Knife will always have crosshairs.
- Crossbows will never have crosshairs. The crossbows are 100% accurate all the time, so shot spread is meaningless with this weapon.
- Rocket/Grenade launchers will always have crosshairs. Most of them have no other way to aim.
- Shotguns will always have crosshairs. You need them on shotguns to see the expected spread. Using iron-sights on shotguns reduces their spread size by half.
Shotguns do have crosshairs, but they can still benefit from Steady Aim by reducing the size of the shot spread.

Personally, for a guy that can't hit the broadside of a barn, I Like It !! Was just wondering how it does in Gun Game, Random Weaps., etc. Does it default one way or the other in those cases ??

In Gun Game there are no perks. In Random Weapons mode, you start with no perks and earn a perk with each kill.
The progression of earned perks is:
Body Armor Slight of Hand Steady Aim Stopping Power Dead Silence Last Stand
