Kill Streaks Explained

I didn't really have proper documentation here in the forums on how Kill Streaks work and I just scrapped and re-wrote the entire script that handles it, so I figured it was time to type up a full explanation. I've made some additions and changes to improve them and make them easier to use.
First, the definition: your Kill Streak is how many kills you have gotten without dying yourself. (resets to zero each spawn).
On the Loadout Menu (below: Equipment, Upgrades, Skills) there is is the Kill Streaks button. The pop-up shows all the rewards available, and how many kills required to earn them.
Select your Kill Streak based on which reward you want, and whether you think you can get the kills required to earn it. If you don't select anything, it defaults to UAV Radar.
Here's what each of them do for you:
UAV Radar:
Your mini-map (top left corner of screen) changes from whatever it was (determined by Gadgets) to show a scanning line highlighting orange dots representing other players. This map will reveal anyone not using ECM or anyone firing non-silenced weapons. It lasts for 60 seconds with a small stopwatch displaying remaining time. When UAV expires, your mini-map goes reverts to its previous state.
Martyrdom:
When you are killed, you will automatically drop a short-fuse grenade. If someone is killed by it, you will get the "Instant Revenge" bonus and 15 points instead of the usual 10 for a grenade kill. When you have Martyrdom, you will not have Killcam. Instead, you will watch your body fall and the grenade explode so you can see if anyone was killed by it.
Supply Drop:
Call a helicopter to your current location to drop a crate of supplies. See full description here.
Last Stand:
When you are shot and killed, you will lay on the ground with your pistol and have 10 seconds left to attempt revenge. If you do not have a pistol with you at death, the default H&K USP will be given to you with full ammo. If you aren't killed before the 10 seconds are up, you will bleed out, giving your attacker only 8 points. If you are killed by an explosion or headshot, you will die instantly without getting to use Last Stand.
Mortar Barrage:
This is my replacement for the old Air Strikes. They were too inaccurate and damaged too wide of an area.
The new Mortar Barrage has a pop-up map target selector. It has a radar scanning line similar to UAV. Pick your target and you'll hear the radio confirmation and mortars firing in the distance. A few seconds later, four mortars will drop from the sky hitting the area you designated. All mortars will impact within 15 feet of your exact target point. Each mortar explosion can kill within a 15 foot radius, and do less damage out to 30 feet.
Juggernaut Suit:
Take only 25% of normal damage.
Helicopter:
This attack Helicopter flies in and shoots at any enemies it can see. You can shoot it down, but the Helicopter has 1200 health so it takes quite a bit. Shooting at the Helicopter makes you its primary target and it will focus on you if possible. The LAW 72 + Sonic Boom Perk is the best way to kill it. If you are successful at shooting it down, you receive two kill credits (20 points for pilot + co-pilot). Any kills your Helicopter gets are only worth 5 points to you instead of the usual 10, because you aren't directly controlling it.
The Helicopter will ignore all of the following: Ninjas, players with Spawn Protection, and players with Both ECM and Tech Expert (unless they shoot at it).
=======================================================================
Martyrdom, Last Stand, and Helicopter require no action on your part. You will get the notification that you earned them, and they will be handled automatically.
UAV Radar, Supply Drop, and Mortar Barrage are controlled by you. After notification, they are put into inventory for you to use whenever you think best. They are not lost at death, you will still have them after you respawn. They are held in your "Action Slot", which is displayed in your HUD directly above your Claymores, with your keybind displayed next to it. If you don't have this bound for some reason, hit ESC and go to Controls/Combat/Air Support and set it there.
Here are the symbols you will see:
UAV Radar
Supply Drop
Mortar Barrage
It is possible to possess more than one at a time. If you didn't use an item and then changed your Kill Streak selection and earned that, or sometimes Supply Drop will give you a free UAV or Mortar Barrage. If you have more than one item, they are "stacked" in the slot in order from most valuable to least:
- Mortar Barrage
- Supply Drop
- UAV Radar
Whenever you use one, the next most valuable item you have will appear, ready for immediate use.
You cannot possess more than one of any item. For example: if you have UAV and die without using it, you might get three more kills after respawning, but you won't get a second UAV.
=======================================================================
Some of these items are difficult to test by myself, so I added a "Test Mode" that I can control. In test mode you'll see a message under the "Next Map:" text showing you which item is being tested. You will automatically be given one of the tested item at each spawn without having to earn it. You can still earn other Kill Streaks in the normal way if you would like. This is a fair and non-disruptive way to encourage usage of that item so I can observe any problems with it.
I have attempted to make this guide as informative and easy to understand as possible, but there is quite a bit of info here. If you have any questions or discover any odd behavior with these items, please comment.
