Did anyone else's neighborhood sound like a warzone at midnight last night? We get this every New Years Eve and July 4th.
Video quality is bad because its a cellphone, at night, through a window screen, at 6x zoom. The sound was pickup wasn't bad though. I'm looking out an upstairs window into the backyard of a house three down from me and around the corner. You can hear gunshots from all sides.
The constitution wasn't perfect but it was better than what we have today.
That did indeed sound like a lot of gunfire. Not the case where I am, though, was just regular fireworks. You know it's a myth, right, that shooting into the air makes for deadly falling bullets? The energy of falling bullets is right at the limits of what is needed to break skin. Instead, the danger with shooting into the air is people don't shoot straight up, they shoot outward at angles that mean the descending bullets still have a lot of speed/energy and can do damage or kill.
