Never ask what kind of computer a person uses--if it's a Mac, he'll say; if not, why embarrass him?

1) Perhaps I just don't understand it, but I have tried signing onto the Forum and changing the "how long to stay signed in" button to, say, 20 minutes from the default 360 mins. (in case I get kicked off, etc., I won't stay logged in for no reason--dunno, just seemed the thing to do), BUT when I do this, it says Hello, RedRock, you have 0 messages" etc., but then I can't reply or post messages or even read all the messages--it keeps saying please login or register, but that doesn't fix it. Only signing in with the default 360 mins works. Just thought others might want to be aware of it.
2) Can my forum listings be set so that new/recent listings are at the top of the page, not at the bottom (requiring scrolls/jumps waaaaaaay down in some cases)?
3) I tried to post a picture. I understand it wants me to put a URL in. But what do I do for a picture on my hard disk that I want to post--what's my URL for that? Is that the same idea as trying to put up an avatar picture, need to have it "hosted" on some website or other? Pretty confusing stuff for this simple end-user (AKA MacUser).
Thanks, anyone.

1) Yes, the log in/out is a little strange on this board. What happens is that after you log in, if you leave without logging out it thinks your still here until the time runs out. Then you come in again and it won't let you log in because the (alternate universe) you is already here. Changing the log in time does work, but you must have been "still here" from a previous session. Until I can find a good solution, make sure you log out or you won't be able to come back until the time runs out. 2) Topics are shown newest at top, individual threads are shown newest at bottom. This is so it is readable by someone seeing it for the first time. Starting at the bottom and reading up would be very confusing. 3) It works exactly the same as avitar hosting. Host the picture somewhere on the web, then cut and paste the URL into the forum "insert image" option. Here is the hosting link: imageshack.us/index3.php
