I have had this problem for a while I am unable to get into Cambodia Raid and one other map that I can't remember right now. The map starts to load then it kicks me out. I have deleted them and re saved them and still get nothing. All of my maps also end in ".pk3.zip" I have gone in and renamed some of them and they seem to work both ways, Have not changed them all but they all work. I had this problem once before with Cambodia Raid and Big Daddy E-mailed it to me and worked fine for a while. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas about this.

Try this, first fix the name so it only has .pk3 after it (uncheck your "hide known extentions" to be sure). Then, open the map file and delete the folder named "ubersound". Resave it and see if that works better.

OK I changed the name and that changed the look of the file, if that matters. Then when II tried to open it, it says windows cannot open it because it needs to know what program created it.

OK, Don't know what I did but I tried to open the map with WinZip manually and somehow changed all fo the maps to something else. They say the name then WinZip under them and now they have the Explore blue "e" on them. Have i screwed anything up to bad?

10 chances to 1 all U have done is allow winzip to be the default progran to open them..if that is all you have done then no..you have not changed anything. If you can not get the option you want while trying to open a program...hold the "shift" key while right clicking on the icon..the selection menu should then have an option"Open with..." just below the open command. From there you can select any program you wish to open it...just make sure the check mark is not in the box for"Always open with this program".

HOLY CRAP!!! its's $40 a year!!! I have gamespy, lol. Theres got to be a way to open it other then that. Right? Theres got to be a basic program on every computer to open these files. Right? my gamespy has a GSAPac1.01 is this something like it, because it does not seem to work for me either. I did need to update it over a year old.

Ok what program will open it? I have tried a few should I try them all until one opens it? Red: BIG MAC? Here is an archiver/unarchiver you can use free for 40 days: "WinRAR is a powerful archive manager. It can backup your data and reduce size of email attachments, decompress RAR, ZIP and other files downloaded from Internet and create new archives in RAR and ZIP file format. You may try WinRAR before buy, its trial version is available in downloads. www.rarlab.com/ " This was recommended to me when I needed to extract some maps from a .exe file (that some brainless person created instead of a .zip file, thinking that poor hapless and helpless windows users can't extract the files and install them in the right place if there isn't a .exe file to do all that for them; however, .exe files won't run on a Mac, so I had to extract the files and put them where they belong). However, it is a very technical program, not at all intuitive (that is, not at all Mac-like), so instead, I just used my Stuffit Expander application to extract the files, and as with most Mac applications, it was easy easy easy (once I figured out an old version of Stuffit was needed to be compatible with my hot new G5 iMac's OS 10.4.5). Why look at that! There's even a Windows version of Stuffit Expander, with a free trial period, too! : www.stuffit.com/win/index.htmlAnd all Macs are Big--chock full of vitamins, proteins, and muscle, for getting those dirty little computer jobs done as easy as 1-2-3 be jealous of me! ;D
