Oh yes... you must convert file types, not just change the file extention.

Rookie. If you don't have a picture editing program, download this free one: www.irfanview.com/After you install this program, open up your screenshot. Then click on "file", "Save as" -name the picture in the bar, then under that bar there is another one that gives different file types- select "jpg" then "save". If you would like some help with any of these things, let me know. We can get on Teamspeak and I can "walk-you-through" them until you get the hang of it.

Somewhere in these threads, Rookie, there is instruction on a map that you can use to view your skins in the granite walled background the others have used, to get a cleaner picture of them (or someone will just remind us how to do it, hint hint, nudge nudge, wink wink).

Yeah I looked for that. And that would great if only SOMEONE remembered how that would be great. Thanks Red

I don't know who this mysterious "someone" is, but until he comes along... www.lamronsplayground.com/maps/physics.pk3Just set your Allied and Axis skins and you will find two dummies standing in the room (three, if you count yourself) wearing your skins.

You don't have to try so hard to make me feel inadequate. I only found one dummy and he is at the keyboard Where should I put this thing I am saving Should there be a catch all for all the stuff I save from this Lamrons Place??

Its a custom map. Download it like usual, then start a game on the "phys" map.

You need to start a new private game. From the multi-player room, pick "New Game", pick the game type, then on the next screen pick the starting map. Pick "Phys" from the list and hit Start. This starts a new server with just you in it.

Congratulations Rook, you are on your way! Keep practicing and you will be able to fine-tune the photo editing process to get pictures to do exactly what you want. This photo of my Dad in his one-room-school-classroom, was my first real success using photo editing programs. His nickname was and still is, Moose. 1946 would be my best guess at the age of the original photo. I put the antlers on him after I had cleaned up the entire photograph for a family reunion. This photo was in bad shape. It had creases and water-spots all over it. Took me about 2 hours to restore it to "like-new condition". Took me an additional half hour to add my special finishing touch with the antlers. I haven't been able to find an inexpensive photo editing program that I can use to crop "free-hand", after my downgrade to Windows Vista.
