Is it possible for someone to come into Lamrons Playground with a operational Aimbot or some sort of immortal cheat code and play undetected by the server? I have good reason for this question, I just want to know if it is possible.....and you all know by the way I play I'm not talking about me.

Its arguable if Aimbots really exist for SH, and they wouldn't work very well anyway. If you actually shoot with your crosshairs on a moving target, it will probably count as a miss. Client side invunerability is impossible.
The two most common cheats you'll come accross are the no-recoil hack and bright skins.

The No-Recoil cheat has got to be really hard to detect I am guessing. How difficult is it to detect the Highlighted-Skins one?
I have wondered even before TOO FAST was playing, and got caught by Lamron I might add, using that cheat, how to detect it. I have noticed at times, that once in a while I would run into someone already shooting from around the corner as if they knew I was coming. I usually attributed those particular instances to Lag or Ping differences and that they actually might be ahead of me in video frames or something.
Is there some way to catch these cheaters? Can a person go back and read anything in the console that the other player may have typed in at the start of their game maybe?

There is also map glitching where they can see you and you can't see them.
No-recoil is one of the main reasons I moved to bolt action rifle servers.

Speaking of map glitching... I've been having a problem lately, where I'm "glitching" back 5 feet about every 20 secs. I've checked if there were any programs running in bg and checked for adware/spyware/viruses. Everything checks out ok or has been the same as its always been. My ping usually stays around 50-75 too. Any ideas?

Aigad, I get that as intermittent interruptions when either my internet service is unstable and coming and going, or when the server is about to crash (is only responding to my commands and game actions and sending me back results of my actions intermittently). On your end, just make sure all your physical connections are tight and nothing is running in the background that's consuming cpu time on an intermittent basis (checking for updates or refreshing data every few seconds, for example). Nothing you can do about the server issues, though, except report it to server admins.

Thought this to be somewhat funny .... The "bad online lag" part was the best!

If the aimbot suspicion is directed at me, blueberry, you're barking up the wrong tree. You've now accused me of using an aimbot and you've accused me of spawn killing, none of which has happened. Keep in mind I have been playing this game for some nine years. I don't cheat. I don't even know how to cheat. Heck, I had to have Marco show me how to get the custom maps.

Jabberwacky, it's good that you have been playing this game for some nine years considering MOHAA (online) didn't release until 2002. When I asked this question you were the farthest person from my mind at the time. However, it is peculiar that you are the only one on the defensive. It is also very peculiar that you had to ask how to download custom maps but you readily know what an aimbot is. I am GUILTY of accusing you of spawn killing and hanging out around spawn points for easy kills but I am not the only one who has. I am NOT accusing you of having an aimbot. This thread has nothing to do with you personally.. Simmer down and enjoy the game!!

You are incorrect about the release of MOH. I know for a fact MOH was around in 1999, because Marco and I were playing it then. The only reason I know about an aimbot is because I asked what it was I was being accused of using. And once again you've managed to insinuate I cheat. You can stick 'peculiar' in your pipe and smoke it. I encourage you to spectate when I play, and you will readily see I do not hang out at spawn points to rack up points. I don't need a cheap kill. I manage to collect points without dirty tricks. I also encourage you to watch, and perhaps you will learn a thing or two about how to play this game well. Until then, do not hate the player, hate the game.

AGAIN, I insinuate nothing. MOH was released on play station in 1999. (not online capable)
I REPEAT, THIS THREAD HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU PERSONALLY. YOU WERE NOT ON MY MIND WHEN THE QUESTION WAS ASKED. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS COMPLAINED ABOUT YOUR CLEVER APPROACH TO SPAWN KILLING. (sorry, cheap shot)
It is funny that you joined the forum today. Was it because someone suggested that this thread was about you or was it just in chance and you stumbled across it??
Reminder, This thread is not about you so please stop trying to make it so.......

I feel obligated to provide my perspective on this issue. I too have addressed the issue of spawn killing with Jabberwacky on a few occasions and have been met with the same defensive hostility. I was not accusing either - but I did clearly ask it to not be done IF it was happening. I am not picking on you here JW but if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, & looks like a duck.... I call it a duck (sorry Daffy)

As to the origin of MOH, I have no idea as I started playing it in 2006. But I found that Allied Assault was released on 2/22/02 for the PC. But on Playstation it was released originally on 11/12/99 - according to www.imdb.com/title/tt0275511/
