Its been a while since the last update, but here it is. I think I have everything pretty well documented on the main website, so I'll just mention the new stuff here.
The .50 BMG sniper is back by popular demand. Now you can't say I never listen to you! ;D
New special weapon selection menu. I was never very happy with the look of the old one, so I scraped it and started over. Similar to an old design I've used before but with much better pictures.
New weapon: Aliens Pulse Rifle. This is a fast firing, low damage gun with an under barrel grenade launcher. Its only selectable when you grab a LPflag. Before you freak out about a futuristic weapon in the game, the weapon seen in the Aliens movies is just a Thompson with a pump shotgun attached to it, and a couple of plastic shell pieces. It really COULD have been assembled in WWII if someone had wanted to. And experimental exploding shotgun slugs have been around for a long time.
AIGAD created this model and the custom animations for it. He and I have been collaborating on this for several months now. It is extremely difficult to design a weapon to work with two fire modes with two magazines and two reload sequences. The MOH game is NOT designed to let you do this! A big thanks goes to AIGAD for making this possible.
LPflags have been changed to give you a pop-up menu of choices when you grab one. You now can choose the HK-G41 or the Pulse Rifle or keep what you have with increased health, speed, and restocked RE's, Prox. Mines, AirStrikes, and grenades. You are invincible while you are making your selection.
Another new item is Bullet Proof Vests. The suicide bomber vests have been eliminated. This is another new model from AIGAD. When you pick one of these up your torso cannot be hurt by bullet fire. Explosions will still kill you.
I went though and added three LPflag locatons (rotating) and two BPvest locations (fixed) for all of the custom maps and almost all of the stock maps. Some of them are hidden pretty well or hard to get to!
The PPSH smg has been eliminated from the game. I need to reassign the animation names to make the Pulse Rifle work. It was always hard to balance this weapon with the others anyway. Russian skins will get the Thompson for their smg now. You will probably see some weird effects if you play with the PPSH on another server with the Client Fix installed.
