I gave what I believe is the preferred usage, or connotation, of each word. However, you're all correct, impersonation is used by many almost interchangeably with imitation, so I yield to your collective greatness, guys. I am wrong.
And Vinnie, I do say so, because it is, regardless of what you think or wish to think.

I did have the same problem daff, someone came in playing as killer_monkey but they had something added on to it. my name is unique, no one would just be able to come up with it unless they are really creative.
