Whew. Seven riding buddies and I trailered our bikes up and headed to Jasper, AR for 5 days to ride the Ozark Mountains. I don't think I've ever ridden that hard! The roads are incredible...curvey, hilly, light traffic...and more fun than can be imagined. There view was very nice. The locals were pretty amazing, too. That area is a very popular motorcycle destination and I think the locals know where their bread is buttered. People waved to us (even Harley riders!), slowed and pulled to the right to allow our group of bikes to pass, and for the most part greeted us warmly. I had a fairly fresh set of tires on the bike when I went, but after 3 days of hard riding on extremely crooked roads my tires are completely trashed! It looks like I've been on a racetrack for a day. Here are a few pics: Loaded trailer and southbound: At the campsite: Lunch stop: Group shot: Misc. pics: I definitely intend to go back for another motorcycle trip, and I may even take the wife and the Jeep once or twice, too. I heard there are extensive Jeep trails.

Over 1,000 best guess. That means I negotiated probably 5,000 curves! It was a great time. I'll tell ya, though, running fast and braking hard for tight curves over and over again will certainly test your stamina and fitness level. My palms still feel bruised from all my weight on hard braking. What a rush!
Sgt. B, how far are you from the Deals Gap?

LOL, 3 in the 'outhouse', one in the camper, and 3 in tents. That little cabin was actually really nice inside. It had a bathroom, kitchenette & fridge, couch...the works! Oh, and the a/c kept things frosty inside!
