Someone over on www.GlockTalk.com actually said that they thought the soldiers banner was "disrespectful" (its posted at the top of every page there). Ha! as if its possible to disrespect someone so well deserving of our hatred and ridicule! Anyway, I added it here hoping someone would be offended, and so the rest of us could laugh at it!

I'm laughing big time at your placement of the picture, Lam, and the larger size of it shows the real big smiles on the soldiers holding it! It's a great picture!

As to Kerry's statement, I believe him that the line was supposed to be different, that it was supposed to be a slam of Bush and not a confusing one at that. BUT.....I also believe, based on all his past statements and actions (his fake time in Viet Nam notwithstanding), that he truly loathes the military and our soldiers, and thus: That he indeed could (and did) so easily make such a different statement than his handlers wanted him to say, and that he could (and did) deliver such a statement so forcefully, and that he could (and did) not even notice he had said something different than he was supposed to and which was terribly incorrect and insulting, just proves to me that it is something he truly believes with all of his being. And to add to that, his "apology" was not public (was on his personal website--how many of the offended soldiers will read that, hmmm?) and really just implies that we're all too stupid to understand what he, the great high and mighty Ivy League rich boy anti-war scholar, really meant for us to believe and that we are too stupid to understand what he really believes. Well, this Tennessee hayseed/hick ("rural voter" in Democrat-speak) isn't falling for it, as I didn't fall for it back in 2004. He is a phony, and he is disgusting.
