I Know I know I don't even have my laptop yet right...dont remind me. 
I ordered this along with some other stuff to get ready for it. Wifezilla had a Targus Tornado or something like that, and after 2 weeks one fan quit. Can't have that so I upgraded for my gaming LT. This thing is solid, duh its aluminum. The massive amount of holes defuse the air quite usably. You can adjust the fan speed and even on the highest setting it is quiet.
There are two usb ports, I haven't checked to see if you could power it up from either one, OOPS. But at least it replaces the one that you have to use to get power to it in the first place. There are two fans, but it looks like if you were skilled enough you might be able to add another two. Not sure though.
They also make a NC1000 for 15.4" notebooks.

OOPS I guess I should have mentioned that we saw a difference of -10 deg c. on the cpu alone
