I guess there is no reasonable expectation of privacy any more.

I guess yuor right, we lost the right to privacy the moment we all agreed to fill in a goverment form or give our details to a database, I just see it as an ineverbilty and have to adapt to that as realistacly there is not much we can do about this type of tide. oh well :-)

Now that's creepy, Lamron. Using the north and south arrow buttons and moving up the street and using zoom to look back at the two people, you can see the fellow with the gun walk up to the car, the little fellow back away and turn somewhat from the gun person who is aiming at him (?and maybe has something over his face), and then the gun person put the gun down/away and the little fellow kind of stay where he is. Plus the neighbors on the sidewalk nearby don't seem to be reacting to anything, although their faces can't be seen as we move past the front of the car where the gun person is standing. My youngest says she's heard of similar pictures cropping up with these street level pictures, for example, recognizable people leaving strip clubs, break-ins occurring, etc.

Yeah theres a lot of cool pics... and some very disturbing ones. There are websites devoted to sharing the odd happenings in the world through street view.

Here's what my road looks like now. Wonder if Google will do an update? Big storm came throug here and took out a few trees. The tree accross the street from me fell and took out his fence and mine (on right side).

Hey, you should take ur new shotty to the branches. Wait... didn't they invent something called a saw chain or something? That might work better, use that ;D
I bet thats the same storm that hit us either yesterday or a few days ago. Did a pretty good job a little north of me and just south of me. Had a tornado or two with those two storms. Hit Silly pretty good, but nothing bad.

That's it. I am never ever going to Google anything ever again. Wow Lam, that tree looks like it was pretty healthy too. Must have had some seriously high winds in order to take that thing down!

The Oakley Avenue image that Lamron posted the link to--the one about the guy pointing the gun--is no longer available on google. I guess someone in authority took it down. Too insensitive, I guess. Wow, so google maybe does have some shame about it, or do you think it was a threat from attorneys?
