I was hoping someone knows how to do this. For the most part, I have my laptop sitting at my desk and have an external mouse and keyboard. But when I want to be portable, I normally leave my mouse at my desk. The problem is when I use the touchpad, it takes me like 10 swipes of my finger to get the pointer across the whole screen. if I increase the mouse speed to a point where it is acceptable for the mousepad, the regular mouse is so touchy it is almost unusable. I have the sensitivity set about as high as I can go where the regular mouse is usable. It is a pain to have to open the logitech control center, or the windows mouse thing to adjust everytime. Does anybody know of a way for the computer to know which mouse i am using, and adjust the speed accordingly?

EDIT:
Did not work for me actually... maybe because my mouse is bluetooth, and I use the internal bluetooth function, so nothing is connected to my usb port.

It should work for usb or bluetooth, as the software should simply access whatever control panel is running the mice. Did you read the FAQ file on the product? If you're using XP, you need another piece of software: |

Yes, I read the faq, but could not figure out why it was not working for me. I should have .net framework 4, i know for sure I have 3.

ahhh... just had the urge to do a quick sound mix thingy...lol
With all the junk wrong with my machine it took longer than expected, and by the time I was done with it I was really p'd off...kind of like right when I sat down to check the forums, my keyboard fell off and keys went the hell everywhere. At least I don't have to work tomorrow. That's the only thought that kept me from loosing my cool. That and I like teasing prezident lol. I hope soon to be able to jump back in your server and try and keep prezident from wiping the floor with me.
