The African American community is going nuts over this cartoon.... Anyone who reads news already knows that this is in reference to the monkey that went crazy the other day and was shot by an officer. This political cartoon is making reference to the "Monkey's in our government" Hell, Obama didn't even write the stimulus package...... Click the link and read some of the blogs....All I can do is LMAO blogs.thetimes.co.za/minor/2009/02/19/racist-obama-monkey-cartoon/

This is why people don't take some black people seriously. They go around searching for excuses to be upset.

It is also why prejudice lives strong. Because of those black people that wont let it die, and find every reason to scream discrimination and yell about hating white people.
It take effort on both sides to end it, and the pot being stirred by white hating black folks just breeds more hate.
What I am trying to say is they are the masters of their own misery. Just my opinion.

In my opinion, black people are far more racist than white people. At least up here in Minnesota. One thing I hate the most is that they talk bad about ME. Saying I enslaved them, blah blah blah. My family didn't even arrive here until the early 1900's, and I have talked with everyone in my family and there appears to be absolutely no evidence of any sort of racism, not even thoughts.
One thing that fuels it is how the media, and TV portray black people. They effectively teach them that they are supposed to act a certain way, only because of the fact that they are black.

If more of them would educate themselves, and take personal responsibility for themselves and the situation they choose to live in. The problem would be less. They choose instead to whine and blame everyone but themselves for the bad things that happen to them. Blaming the white man is easier than going out and striving for what you want in life. It gives them a sense of entitlement that they think the govt or anyone owes them for everything in life because they are the poor lil beat down black ppl.

There is a certain amount of racism and prejudice in America, I would hope that everyone would be able to see that. But it is not to the extent that is portrayed by the black, and also mexican, arab, etc community. As you said, they chose to use that as an excuse to sit on their ass and do nothing with their life. It will never get better until people strive to make it better.

And I am not a white man, You crackas... LMAO
I am mostly American Indian, the most oppressed in the past race in this country.
Not a single living person today had a darn thing to do with the slaughter of so many Indians in the 1800's and it is history and the past and the rest of the tribes need to move on and get on with life. I know a few years back the Indian nation was looking for hand outs from the govt as compensation for the killing and stealing of tribal lands... THIS IS CRAP!! The ones living on reservations get a govt check every month to stay there, but are more than free to live any where they choose same as the rest of us.
Is there a lesson yet to be learned from the American Indian? Yes. Is there still prejudice against Indians? Yes but very very limited and not as noticed these days. Most have let it go and die with the past. This is what needs to be done now. LET IT DIE. Move on and become part of society.

I do not hate people for there race. skin colour or religion, I hate people for the way they act towards other human beings. All over the world we see those that would use colour, religion for excuses to go to war, make trouble, or to cover up there own inabilities, that goes for those that would hate just because of political views.

I would agree with that assessment, and I battle the political hate personally all the time. I try not to hate those that I feel are destroying our way of life but it is very hard not too sometimes.
